Personal Information Protection Policy

Recognizing the importance of personal information, Tokyo Steel is taking the following actions:

1. We observe the Act on the Protection of Personal Information and related laws. We also make efforts to ensure that our business complies with guidelines, etc. set forth by the government.
2. We develop internal rules and regulations on the management of personal information to appropriately protect such information.
3. We make efforts to familiarize our employees with the contents of the abovementioned regulations, guidelines and internal rules.
We also make continued efforts to review and improve this protection policy and the internal rules.
4. When we acquire personal information, we specify the purpose of use to the extent possible, and acquire personal information only within the necessary scope.
5. We appropriately manage personal information we have acquired, and will neither provide nor disclose the information to any third party without consent.
6. We take measures to prevent incidents regarding personal information, including unauthorized access, loss, destruction, falsification and leaks.
7. When we entrust an external body to process personal information, we take appropriate measures, such as stipulating in an agreement the management responsibility of the entrusted company.
